It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. I know, I know, shame on me! The weeks are flying by and we are already in the firm grasps of November, Thanksgiving is on the horizon, and I had my first country director visit.

One of the most exciting things to report is that my counterpart proposed an amazing idea for a project and thanks to the leftovers from our generous summertime donation, it looks as though it will be getting off the ground shortly! We are going to use some of the money to buy a stove and gas tank, so we can have cooking classes. I’m so excited about this and it was Vale’s idea. I think we’ve really got something! I’ll post a longer update about the CD visit and the chaotic Halloween party later. But for right now, I’m certainly happy with the way things are shaping up this school year!
