A distinctive chill has settled in and the leaves have begun to change. This can signal only one thing, my favorite month is now upon us. October, is by far the best month of the year. Today, Vale and I made the first announcements about our second annual 4-H Halloween Ball. Last year was a smashing success. All the kids arrived in the most creative of costumes. We had witches, pirates, police officers, princesses, ghosts, knights, an old man, cats, rock stars, ghouls, and  zombies.

I can’t wait to see what this year has in store! The planning has begun. Halloween goodies from the States are on their way. This will certainly be a Halloween to remember. Get ready, everyone!
